The Great THBC Balloon Launch 2008 Many of you participated in the launch of balloons with a card to share a message of hope and love from our folks to those in our area. Below is some answers received so far..  Matt Laenger's Card: I work at the newspaper here, so if you will go to www.copiahcountycourier.com (between now and next Wednesday) you will see a picture of my son and me with the balloon that Matt Laenger released from your church. Since I can e-mail, please forward this to Matt and tell him how much it touched us for the balloon to land on our property. 2007 was a terrible year for my family due to a motor vehicle accident in which our son was driving and two of his friends were killed. Our son (not the one in the picture) has miraculously fully recovered and will soon finish his college degree. We had to learn to trust in and lean on God and our community of friends in a way we had never experienced. So as to your question about praying for us, please lift the McKinley family up as we continue to struggle with the aftermath of this tragic accident.
